ZoneDAS One
ZoneDAS One is an active in-building distributed antenna system (DAS) that supports multi-operator and multi-band functionality. It offers versatile connectivity options, including Ethernet cable or optical fiber, to provide flexible and reliable coverage for various network environments.

System Components

Base Unit

Base Unit provides comprehensive RF modules to connect with mobile 3G/4G/refarming 5G RF input signals. For flexible deployment in various venue, The Base Unit offers both Ethernet and fiber optic options for connecting to remote units. To easily configure and manage system performance, the Base Unit is equipped with two Ethernet ports to provide local and remote management.

EpanderCC

ExpanderCC is used to expand the number of RJ-45 interfaces of ZoneDAS One to connect more RUs. Ethernet cable can transmit RF signal up to 100m. One Expander CC is equipped with 8 RJ-45 Signal Distribution (SD) ports to connect up to 8 remote units for a coverage area of up to 20,000m2.

EpanderFC

ExpanderFC is a free-standing add-on unit designed to significantly extend the reach and capacity of any ZoneDAS One system. It provides 8 Ethernet links to connect with up to 8 Remote Units (RUs) and communicates with the Base Unit (BU) via optical fiber, supporting distances of up to 2.5 kilometers. In the downlink direction, the Expander converts RF over Fiber to RF over Ethernet, while in the uplink direction, it converts RF over Ethernet back to RF over Fiber.

Remote Unit

A Remote Unit houses the active antennas that actually broadcast the mobile signals from the BU to cellular phone.

Expansion Capability

Scalable by adding expanders, with two types available including FC and CC. One FC or CC expander can provide 8 RJ-45 ports to link with 8 remote units (RUs). One BU can connect a maximum of 8 FC and CC expanders.

RF over Ethernet

Unlike analog repeaters and passive DAS technology, the ZoneDAS series delivers cellular signals utilizing Ethernet cabling for RF and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Now you can say goodbye to expensive and complex installation with coaxial cable.
