Summary
Beijing Capital Development Co., Ltd. (BCDC) encountered severe signal issues in the basement of its flagship project in northern Beijing, where weak cellular signals from China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom disrupted daily operations and customer interactions. Seeking a solution, BCDC enlisted the expertise of system integrator Beijing Janbotime, choosing Zyxel’s SymmRepeater indoor distribution system. This innovative solution, known for high quality and long-term support, was selected due to its ability to address dead zones in high-rises and basements, providing reliable voice and data coverage even in low-signal environments.
The SymmRepeater employs patented dual-level amplification and supports up to 100dB gain, allowing it to boost signals even with only one bar of strength. It uses DAS technology to amplify signals from multiple operators without interference, offering oscillation avoidance and auto signal leveling to ensure high isolation and clarity. Installed with ease using affordable coaxial cables and PoE-enabled devices, the system was deployed in just one day.
After installation, signal strength for all three operators improved by 15-20dB, enabling full bars, fast internet, and clear calls for staff and clients. This transformation has significantly boosted work efficiency and customer satisfaction, with BCDC now planning to expand the use of Zyxel’s repeaters across its other sales centers.
