ZoneDAS
ZoneDAS is a modular and scalable active DAS which provides a comprehensive range of modules, including mobile 3G/4G RF input modules, Ethernet cabling interfaces for connecting remote units, and Ethernet port for local or remote management.

System Components

Base Unit

Base Unit provides comprehensive RF modules to connect with mobile 3G/4G RF input signals. For flexible deployment in various venue, The Base Unit offers 8 Ethernet port to connect remote units. To easily configure and manage system performance, the Base Unit is equipped with two Ethernet ports to provide local and remote management.

ExpanderCC

CC expander is used to expand the number of RJ-45 interfaces of ZoneDAS to connect more RUs. Ethernet cable can transmit RF signal up to 100m. One CC Expander is equipped with 8 RJ-45 Signal Distribution (SD) ports to connect up to 8 remote units for a coverage area of up to 20,000m2. CC Expander supports easy scalable upgrades, it can support more RUs and a wider range of deployments.

Line Extender

An Ethernet line extender is used to extend the range of Ethernet connections beyond their typical distance limitations. Ethernet cables have a maximum effective length due to signal degradation over distance, typically around 100 meters (328 feet). Ethernet line extenders work by amplifying and regenerating the Ethernet signal, allowing it to travel longer distances without losing quality.

Remote Unit

A Remote Unit houses up to 4 active antennas that broadcast mobile signals from the Base Unit (BU) to cellular phones, providing coverage of up to 50x50m².

ZoneDAS is compatible with 1 to 2 operators and offers selectable frequency bands. It supports both 3G and 4G technologies and the entire series accommodates various signal sources, including off-air repeaters, small cells, BTS, and ORAN.
